I started writing halfway through my fifth grade year.

My teacher gave us "story starters." He'd put a sentence on the board, like "I was sitting in the classroom when I heard a bump outside." We'd have to use that sentence to write a story.

I wrote a story for one of the episodes (I didn't know it was called fanfiction until much later) cuz I thought it didn't have enough whump in it. lol Congrats on being a published novelist too...that isn't easy. I've watched for the first time the movie Star Trek tonight and according to the credits, Paul McGillion had a part in it ('Barrack's Leader'), but I did not see him. Can anyone tell me on which part of the movie he appeared? I am terrible in recognizing actors in movies, so maybe I just did not realize when he was on screen. Thanks for the help

Pauly was in the movie, but he was wearing a hat. He even said at a con, "Blink and you'll miss it." I have not gone back to watch the movie since finding out he was in it.

Yeah, I can't speak for the TV version. If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong), it was when Kirk and McCoy and them were loading into shuttles/ships. But, it's been quite some time since I saw the movie.
