Anglo-Saxon names have an certain panache about them - it's a shame they aren't used more. I've been reading Bernard Cornwell's Saxon series books - there are some great names in there, both Saxon and Viking!

If anyone is looking for stories that do not gloss over the complexities of the Wraith with generalized, insulting adjectives and that also treat the SGA team members as more than jokes, her stories are excellent.
Thank you Bakja and orbofnight - I'm pleased you're enjoying the story.

I would totaly name a wraith Dietrich (love to pronounce that. also like to pronounce Severus, just fun names to speak), However, I already got a villainous human named that.

For names, I've always found this site useful: http://www.20000-names.com/

Though often it just gives more ideas rather than narrowing them down
If found, is probably lost on the way to Azaroth or the Pegasus Galaxy

Here. Looking for a new topic? Because you posted articles in another forum about meditation and spirituality, how about that?

              Why do Wraith meditate?

My theory is that it helps them to conserve energy. I base this on Steve using this technique to keep calm in Atlantis and on Todd telling John that anger would only weaken him.

Or could Steve have been putting out a telepathic distress call in hope that he could summon a hive ship like Michael and a group of reverted Wraith did in Misbegotten?

Also, could a meditative state of mind be needed to make such a telepathic call? Michael's group did seem to be chanting...

It's possible. Trying to send a telepathic call over a long distance must be far more difficult than communicating with one's fellow Wraith in a hive ship.
