I found one of those pics and yes, you're right. No matter how hard I try to convince myself of that when looking at the other pic, though, I still end up thinking a piece of his wig has fallen off.

Although it would be an intriguing plot - after transformation Teyla begins to enjoy her new status and possibilities (or as a variant - after returning from her mission Teyla discovers she is pregnant) .

There's just be the question of feeding, heh. While I think it would be interesting to have wraith who've chosen to be modified so as not to have to eat people, I admit I'd like a solution that doesn't rob them of their longevity. Thinking of 'Infection', re which I think Mallozzi said the organic cables in the hibernation pod keep the wraith nourished while they're sleeping -- I wonder how that works? Does the ship press life force out of human captives and feed it to them in small doses? Or is it a true alternative source of energy? Maybe it could be improved... Though of course, I guess there's no reason why eating like humans would have to mess up their regenerative powers.

I think Steve might always be a bit arrogant, though. I can imagine him learning altruism, but I also think he could be terribly condescending when he deigns to be helpful. Actually, I can see him developing a manner like the scientist in 'Allies'.

There is a fic about that puts forward a pregnancy for Teyla. I think you can find it on LJ, but I can't recall the name of it.

I am just joking around. We can’t be so sure about his real purposes, that’s true .

I read the fic you were talking about, apart from a little bit weird (to my taste) idea of fertilizing the eggs, it was both creepy and rather believable reading. As far as I remember, Todd's allegiance to Teyla was shown as a genetic thing.

The story-line like that has so much potential, IMO. Teyla's feelings and her reactions, how would her colleagues handle the situation, etc., there is a lot of room for development.
