OK, I just have to ask. What's with the Princess Bride book and movie. Never read it or watched it.

It can't be explained. It's self-explenatory. Honestly, it's just great. I just love the way Goldman can combine about three levels of storytelling in one book and then the way he combines fact and fiction and all the intertextuality and... all that other stuff.

Lizzie- to explain a bit more, the reason we are talking about it here, is that in an episode a while ago(Row- do you remember which one?) Sheppard referenced it, and in Row's stories, it makes a heavy appearance

Ah yes, the weather....freezing cold at night here and I have the fireplace going all around the clock...well, as long as I'm awake anyway. I hate having a fire in the house when I am not awake. I wish that stupid central heating system will be available again soon. Why don't they ever break down during summer?

Btw, looking at those hot piccies, what's the story behind Kavan's broken nose? Has he ever told how he did that?

Yup, I love that too. I'm trying to convince my family that they should get me the 20th anniversary special edition 2 disc DVD set for xmas, but they don't get why my special edition isn't good enough *sighs*

Don't ask how many editions, special editions, super special editions, absolutely the last editions of things I have. It's no wonder they keep producing more and more of them. Idiots like me keep buying them. I need to add another room to the house just to house my books and DVDs. Wish I had the money and I'd do it...well, maybe stop buying DVDs... Nah! I might miss something.

well I don't normally buy a ton of DVD's to start with but the ones I like I buy extras upon extras in case something happens to one of the others. You know I think I've now purchased ADB(Davids movie) on 3 discs, as well as iTunes.
