I was trying to write chapter 3 of Little Valentine but ...I'm getting absolutely nowhere, fast. Right now chapter 3 is mostly notes, some dialogue and other things that I'm trying to put into some semblance of a chapter. It's not going well.

I don't like Shep whump either I only keep an eye on this fic as it sometimes has Rodney whump in it. This particular chapter did and a lot too (otherwise I wouldn't have flagged it up in this thread, would I? )

That took me a moment Yes, I've uploaded some fics onto it, but when I read them on the bus it makes me feel sick I got it for when I start using the train in a couple of weeks It's great fun though. I read about 6 Rodney's Really Bad Days today. All that pain! So much fun

I can say lots more...
Vulnerable - he's a civilian and has no formal military training (this is the main draw for me)
Nervous - maybe a healthy fear of whump is a good thing? Maybe it's more through a fear of failure and his crumpling ego that he's scared a lot of the time?

I could type a whole essay (perhaps I should?), but I really need to work on my PJM...

I'm ashamed to admit that it was Sheppard who drew me to SGA. I bought the first season DVD boxset on faith (hadn't seen any episodes) as I thought he was quite thunkable from the pictures... but there's just something about Rodney, hmm (mmm) and very soon I was ignoring Sheppard and praying that McKay got whumped instead

Well, Rodney drew me to SGA cuz I'd known him from SG-1... hate to admit it but ...I "noticed" Carson before I "noticed" Rodney. But, once I had "noticed" Rodney, everyone else paled in comparison.

I too was a John fan even though I liked Rodney. I grew to appreciate Rodney more and more as I watched the show but I can still enjoy it when John gets whumped too.
