After watching it Thursday evening, i rather liked it.. Especially loved the 'next generation' aspect, with the kids of those from 1, being prominent.
2 gripes I had though, were..
A) The whole "One landed" angle of that one in Africa? All the city ships we saw were disk.. That one looed a heck of a lot different.. Why?
B) Goldblum.. At the end of 1, he seemed to hook back up with the blond gal who worked for the president.. Where the heck was she? Why didn't they mention anything on why she was not there? OR was that just so they could introduce a new romantic interest (the french gal)??
