Exclusive: CW early renewal statuses for all shows

Apparently THE CW is deep in contracts negotiations and is finalizing the paperwork for renewing : Gossip Girl ,90210 ,Smallville ,Supernatural , ANTM and The Vampire Diaries for next season. Expect official renewal annoucements for the above shows later this month.

I watched this show for the first time on Thursday, I like it. Its better than alot of the other Vampire stuff out there. (like Twilight and True Blood IMO)

I'd agree with you. Its just started here in the UK, so i watched the first 2 episodes out of curiosity. Wasnt bad, but wasnt great. Like you said at this point i would rather watch it over Twilight or True Blood.

YES! I'm glad somebody else doesn't think True Blood isn't the best thing to hit TV. I was confused watching Vampire Diaries as it was like its 12th episode or something....but it kinda reminds a bit of the Tom Cruise film "Interview with a Vampire" at times.

I was pretty appalled.


I noticed The Vampire Dairies has a 22 episode season, I have not seen that in a long time!

Porn?!? No, I didn't confuse it with porn, and believe me I've seen enough reference material , however I understand if it makes some people uneasy. On the other hand, compared to the novels, it's pretty tame.

I see it the other way around....i've read the novels. But to each their own I suppose.

I actually like this series but i will have to get it on DVD when it comes out because I haven;'t had time to watch it online. Though I do want to get the books and read them too at some point.

This week's episode was great again. I really love this show more and more with every episode.
