I heard some rumors about this a few weeks ago. I'm surprised that they'd go this route. Though I think the Silver Chair is the better story, I think bringing Tilda Swinton and Jim Broadbent (some familiar faces) as Jadis and Prof. Digory Kirke may visually link this movie more strongly with the first film, and help attract more viewers?

I'm actually kind of upset about it.
Mostly because the kid who plays Eustace isn't exactly a kid anymore. If it's going to be "a couple of years" then by the time they start SC he'll be 20+.
