It was a mistake on their part. As soon as it is on the screens in the states, some person will film it with a camera and post it on the web. Many hardcore fans will not wait and download that version. Because of the bad quality, some people will not enjoy it, will say it is crap, and will not see it at the cinema. This is how you lose money...
