Meg. We haven't seen her for a while - not since Born Under a Bad Sign, if I remember correctly... So Sam has some unsolved issues with her. Should be fun seeing that reunion.

I think it's great that they re-use characters from earlier seasons who already have a history with the boys, rather than inventing new adversaries all the time.

This should take some of the sting out of Adrianne Palicki's impending Friday Night Lights departure: The actress has signed on to reprise her role as Sam's ill-fated ex, Jessica, on Supernatural!

As you know, Jessica was whacked by a demon in the Supernatural pilot. She reappeared at the end of season 2 during Dean's genie-granting alternate reality head-trip, but hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Details regarding Palicki's return engagement are being kept under lock and key, but this much I can tell you: She's booked for one episode and it'll air early in the season (but not the season premiere).

I'm currently watching season 4. Can someone please tell me that the mid season 2 parter was the only low point of the season because it was seriously underwhelming.

Sorry you didn't care for those two much. Personally, I liked them. But, to each their own.

As for the rest of Season 4, I think most of the episodes are amazing. There are some really good stories told and several revelations in the second half of Season 4.

Here I go again - I had promised myself not to click on spoilers. But heck, I'm weak. But still, thanks for keeping us in the loop, MWB!

I recently watched the episode mentioned, and I was wondering if they would deal with the issue again at some point. It was one of a few loose ends that still need to be resolved.

Totally agree, I really liked the two-parter, but felt the next three eps were kind of mediocre. But from my POV everything from and including #14 ('Sex and Violence') rocked. Loved each and every one of them, although from the spoilers I'd read I was a bit worried about some of the storylines. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Okay, so the episodes do get better. I must admit that The Monster at the End of this Book could possibly be the best episode ever.

Although, what needs to stop are the Meaningful Monologues by Dean at the end of some episodes. When the only good part of an episode is Ackles's acting in those bits, you know something's wrong. Plus, now they're just getting overused. I liked it better when The Manly Tears only showed up occasionally.
