Smallville 10.3: "Supergirl" - Official Summary

"Clark (Tom Welling) is stunned when Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort) returns to Earth and tells him Jor El sent her to stop the dark force that is coming because he doesn't believe Clark can handle it. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) confronts Gordon Godfrey (guest star Michael Daingerfield), a shock jock radio DJ who has been crusading against heroes, after he threatens the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley). However, after Godfrey is possessed by the dark force, he takes Lois hostage and Clark and Kara have to come to her rescue." The episode was written by Ann Cofeil Saunders and was directed by Mairzee Almas.

I've watched the Smallville trailer a hundred times. What should we make of Chloe putting on Dr. Fate's helmet? — Evan
ADAM: Not that much. While we're pretty sure she's not going to be the next Dr. Fate, that scene is quite significant. Chloe uses the helmet to find Oliver, and while she's wearing it, she sees several other intriguing things — not the least of which is Clark not wearing black.

'Smallville' Exclusive: Teri Hatcher to play Lois' mom!

Congrats, Smallville—you have outdone yourself! For the show’s 10th and final season, producers have scored perhaps their biggest (maybe even the biggest possible) casting coup: They’ve snagged erstwhile Lois Lane Teri Hatcher to play mom to Erica Durance’s Lois Lane!

I know what you’re thinking: But Lois’ mom, Ella, is dead! Follow along now…

In episode 8, titled “Abandoned,” Lois discovers old videotapes of her mother. I think you can figure the rest out for yourself. Am I right?

As you know, Hatcher spent four years playing Superman’s soul mate on ABC’s The New Adventures of Lois and Clark. The fact that the Desperate Housewives star was game to do this speaks volumes about her appreciation for that role (and the role it played in her future career). I’m sure they’re also paying her well, too.

Teri Hatcher, Fantastic. I am glad they are bringing her in. Bit of a disappointment they aren't having her interact with the cast but it's going to be great having her.

Makes me wonder if they'll try grabbing any other recognised actors from the earlier stuff to add to the awesome.

Ausiello: I can confirm that the final shot in the episode will drive Clois fans bonkers. I can also confirm that Kristin Kreuk will make a cameo appearance… sort of. The landmark episode contains a Lana flashback.

Even a flashback scene will drive my wife nuts. She has never liked Lana.

I like your wife. Just the idea of force feeding us Lana on a 200th episode is like a kick to the nuts on your birthday, or in your wife's case, a really hard punch to a boob. We don't Lana, nor do we need Lex, nor do we need Lionel, or Martha, or Pete. The 200th episode should be pure awesome, not a retarded way and showing us Lana again.
