Hiya, new to the Doctor threads *waves* but I have to admit that 'Blink' scared the bejesus out of me! I think it must take a total genius to come up with a storyline like that and they certainly earn their money! The only one that surpassed it IMHO was 'The Family of Blood' which made me cry buckets (still does), but for sheer 'edge of seat' it has to be 'Blink'

BTW I love this episode but found it too shippy in parts.

Like Sally's friend I found it a bit hard to believe she would hitch up with that guy just like that, and on top of that lie about her age, but then again she was a woman

i like how her friend lied about her age but it was also sad because she lost her best friend. i wander if Sally and her friends brother ever got together in the end because all we know as they ended up being partners in a store and sally then met the doctor for the first time. but i guess we will never know if they ended up ever getting together

This is my favorite episode of the series so far. I loved Carey as Sally Sparrow. I hope she returns to the program some day.

i like that this episode wasn't all about the doctor it did freak me out a bit and still does if i watch it at night

Well essentially they are just statues made of stone and marble. No lving matter, just that they move... Smashing them would render them harmless I imagine.
