Oof, just saw this in the SGU Ratings Slide article:

This week is also Universe‘s first Tuesday with a lead-out show, with the mid-season premiere of Caprica. The episode, titled “Unvanquished,” was watched live by 889,000 viewers. (Syfy’s lead-in for the night is a repeat of the previous week’s episode of SGU.)

That’s a new series low for Caprica — which is also airing on Tuesdays for the first time — as well as its second trip below the 1 million mark. Approximately 1.1 million watched the mid-season finale in March.

Intriguing. I loved how it was used in BSG and wish more shows could be that brave. It would be interesting to see how Caprica would use it. If we get a second year, anyway.

it makes sense this is 58 years before bsg it would make the series more interesting to semi hurry to the first war.

If the show makes it past the first season (which I'm seriously doubting), I've always thought that they would have to or would at least benefit from time jumps to get us closer to the first war.

Not to be a wet blanket but consider the source. This is the guy that has told us before that we will be getting a renew/cancel decision soon a couple of times already.

No, we don't have to take that into account because he never quoted his "inside sources".

I got to meet this guy and chat with him for quite some time when i was at the Chi Con, I think if you met him you would think otherwise. I even asked him about Caprica when I met him and we talked about the article he posted about season 2 lol.

My caution of using his articles has nothing to do with personality and more to do with the accuracy/inaccuracy rate of his articles.
