TV GUIDE
march 26
Question: Hey, can you give us some frakkin' news about the new season of Battlestar Galactica? — Cortney
Ausiello: I hear a pivotal scene in Friday's season premiere involves an authority figure being held at gunpoint.
Question: Battlestar Galactica's final season is only a week or so away! Do you have any tidbits? — Sarah
Ausiello: Pay attention to the condition of Starbuck's viper upon her return from Earth. And a major character is going to get a close shave. Literally.
http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/battl...lactica/191395 lists a bunch of articles on BSG
and.... BSG is featured on the inside foldout front cover of the two-week March 31st TV Guide probably out on stands now.
This article

Tahmoh Penikett has a new job!
Breaking: Battlestar Stud Playing Dollhouse with Dushku
Joss Whedon is letting his obsession with Battlestar Galactica get the best of him — and I couldn't be happier about it!
Whedon has tapped Galactica stud Tahmoh Penikett (aka Helo) to play Eliza Dushku's "twisted romantic foil" in Dollhouse, a spokesperson for Twentieth Television confirms. Also joining the Dollhouse ensemble are Fran Kranz (CBS' Welcome to the Captain), Aussie actress Dichen Lachman and relative newcomer Enver Gjokaj.
Penikett's character, Paul Smith (originally named Paul Ballard), is described as an FBI agent who becomes obsessed with both the urban myth that is Dollhouse and its most recognizable inhabitant, Echo (Dushku).
Kranz, meanwhile, has been cast as Dollhouse's nerdy programmer Topher Brink, the dude responsible for imprinting the dolls. Lachman, who starred in the Australian series Neighbours, will play Sierra, a Doll similar to Echo, only not as self aware. And last but not least, Gjokaj will play Echo's buddy Victor, a handsome Doll who is childlike when inactive and everything from Errol Flynn to a young De Niro when he's active.
Though no word on what it means for the rest of his filming for BSG.

The New York Times had an article about SciFi's recent NYC press conference, and it's got a neat shot of Jamie Bamber picking up Bonnie Hammer.

Battlestar Galactica
10:00 PM - SCI FI
Yeah, well, the TV movie "Razor" was good and all -- but it's not what "BG" fans really wanted. What they really wanted was to know the confirmed identities of the remaining cylons, a good excuse for the implied mystic mumbo jumbo -- and Starbuck. In the final season starting tonight, they should get some resolution. Katee Sackhoff, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Michael Hogan and Tricia Helfer return.

'Galactica' star plans to jettison the role for good
By CRISTINA KINON
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Monday, March 31st 2008, 4:00 AM
Excerpts:
As the Sci Fi Channel's popular "Battlestar Galactica" draws to an end after four seasons, star Katee Sackhoff, who plays Starbuck, knows exactly what she's swiping from the set on her last day.
"My flight suit and my helmet and my gun belt," Sackhoff told reporters. "I'm going to bronze that flight suit and put it in my bathtub so when someone comes over and showers, they have to stand next to it. It was hell for so many years, it's only appropriate that I get to take it with me."
………………
Sci Fi recently said it will do a two-hour movie, a prequel to "Battlestar," entitled "Caprica," but Sackhoff is not involved, nor should fans expect to see her as Starbuck again once the series has ended.
"When I, as an actor, am done with a show, I'm done with the show," said Sackhoff. "As much as I love the job or don't love the job, the last thing I want to do is come back and do it again. Granted, talk to me in five years if I haven't worked, but as of right now I have no desire to do a movie."
