I watched "Each Night I Dream of Home".

A few questionable moments (what was up with that quasi-originalTrek final scene, ending with an (un)witty aside? I did like the synchronicity of "life goes on" though), but overall a solid episode.

Yes, indeed, but also depressing is the episode I'm watching next, "Intersections in Real Time"!

As for "The Illusion of Truth", I liked parts of it but the main characters didn't do a very good job in making statements that couldn't be twisted against them. Delenn says, "if they do not understand, we will make them understand". Really?

Anyway, it was still an effective piece, and I love the utterly chilling scene when the "traitor to the state" names others in the entertainment industry who have practiced sedition. That was a brilliant reflection of reality via fiction.

I actaully really like this episode, and despite the fact that the direness of the situation comes across very well in it, I don't find it depressing.

I feel that underneath it all, there is still a strong sense of hope - not necessarily for Sherdian himself - but for his cause. They can't break him.

yeah those are also my favorite s1 eps. I'd add Signs and Portents and possibly Babylon Squared

I thought Thirdspace was just ok too. The main reason was that it was just an ubber new powerful piece of tech thing. If it was explored and there were more episodes after it developing it, then I might have enjoyed it more. If they developed the aliens that came from there.
