*chews on it* Actually funny dog story. So my daughter thought it would be hilarious to buy this HUGE raw hide bone shaped like a candy cane for our dog (after Christmas sale). This thing was so large (probably the size of a walking cane) my dog was afraid of it. LOL My oldest son had to hack saw it into smaller pieces so he could eat it.

when we had a dog , he got one of those raw hide bones, and he liked it ok, bacon, but, he liked the DEER HOOVES better, be seemed to like the cow hooves, bacon, but loved the deer hooves, and then he got his first taste of steak bones, dad got a rib eye and we would have it for sunday dinner, bacon, when he got his first he took it in to the family room and started to gnaw on it , I sat down next to him and he didn't even bat an eye at that, then I leaned down to scratch my foot hand he gave me such a growl, to be honest, it shocked the hell out of me, bacon, I never thought he had that in him at all, he was such a love sponge.

you know, there is one more good thing about spam, it is ready to eat, if you eat raw bacon you get sick, if you eat raw spam, you get full, not to mention it goes well on sandwiches.

Hooves make my doggie throw up, preferably on the carpet the next night, but everything else she rather inhales than eats.
I don't like the smell of a bone in the flat so she doesn't get one.
Well, of course, she does love bacon - and spam!
