thanks a bunch. actually, I have many Oz mementos in my classroom. two of my favorites are a 20 inch high animated Witch of the West who speaks several phrases from the movie and a tee shirt that I have pinned to a bulletin board that was given to me for Christmas years ago by another teacher and says "Don't make me call my flying monkeys" I also have a flying monkey

It is cold and rainy here today. Never got above 42. That's about as winter as we get. However, it does make good sense to prepare potato and bacon soup.
