Um..... I think I went Filter>texture>grain and boobled with it For Dodge, I used Color Dodge because it looked better than Linear Dodge

I couldn't get the wording texture to work, so I just made up the text myself and tucked it in behind the coloured layers.

Thanks I'm not really fond of yellow, yet I seem to be in yellow mode lately It does suit Martin

The sig looks great, Jumble! Uhm, may I ask you about the font you use for the name in your current one?

'Martin Wood' is Sverige Script Decorated, and the rest is Blue Highway. There are links in lg's tut

Uhm...I'll see what I can do, if I can remember what I did.

Actually, now I think of it, it was fairly simple really...

                Spoiler:
                GIMP

                1. I opened the image of the Impala, minus background...

                2. Open all images you wish to use together in the main image (in my case the car)

                3. Go into Layers dialogue (box), right click on the layer and select Add Alpha Channel

                4. With the image selected, go to the Tool Box and select the Bucket Fill tool and fill the selection with the color black.

5.Copy/paste images into this image one at a time. Scaling and positioning as necessary.

I gave the car two borders using the add alpha channel method. First a white one then a black one. I used Gaussian Blur for the black one to blur it by 8. Each border was a size 2.

And because GW gives it a background I went with Nolamom's suggestion and used f1f1f1 which is GW's color.

For Dean I used the font PreludeFLF Bold/Italiac. I got the chrome effect by going into Filters and selecting Alpha To Logo and then selected Chrome.

That's it, I think. Hope it makes some shred of sense.

The background is actually several textures... give me a few minutes and I'll see if I can make it into 1 texture
