I have a Photoshop question...not sure if I'm on topic or not, so I'll spoil for n00b's sake...

Spoiler:

I'm looking for Photoshop plug-ins for Mac. I used Elements 9 and I used to have some neat preset program/plug-ins for my crappy PC (ie Xero Graphics). Alas, now that I'm on a Mac, I don't have quite the pickings that I did before. I did a hunt via Google, but I'll be honest and say I didn't find anything very useful. I think I'm looking/hunting for the wrong thing. I'm casual and still learning stuff - more of a fic writer, but I like to make icons etc.

Have you tried looking at the Adobe website? If you can't find what you're looking for you can always ask them

I'm in wallpaper mode at the moment - made this (not for the challenge) to show my sister how easy GIMP is (she has the program but hasn't tried to use it yet )

Thanks LTC Another one of my 'fudge around until something interesting happens by accident' efforts! Now I just need to make something for the challenge (my original intent when I opened GIMP this afternoon!!)
