Into the future, or into the unknown

Loosely inspired by Star Trek, in its 50th birthday week, your challenge this week is to make art which somehow fits the theme of the opening monologue - looking into the future, or exploring the unknown and the new. Feel free to use the monologue itself if you like, or otherwise anything you make with this theme.

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.

I say this with the authority of (probably the only) one who saw TOS when it first aired
