Hey, everyone! Great challenge entries the last couple of challenges! I've been working on pieces, but I end up feeling "meh" about them. As a result, I tend to lurk while writing.

But, with this new challenge, I figured I could enter a couple of my old pieces of art.

Lovely piece, I love charcoal.

Hey, everyone! Great challenge entries the last couple of challenges! I've been working on pieces, but I end up feeling "meh" about them. As a result, I tend to lurk while writing.

Beautiful pieces. I made icons as well but they look so blah, compared with yours. And I love bridges. Well done!

Thank you JW, I use a *pencil" with a charcoal mine so my finges won't get all black and dirty but those it seems are hard to find, I am lucky to finally havefound one which is not broken inside and useless for that matter

Finding the right pencils is not easy. I often think I should try to sketch more but then inspiration never comes

On that note, remember that sword and the snowflake I linked a while back ? Those were previews, teaser trailers if you will of a much larger project. Which is now done

Well... Half done actually. I made two versions of it, the second version is still in progress as I need to make another level to the snowflake,

Ladygris what tutorials did you follow for your icons? I am absolutely hopeless with icons, as I can't seem to work in small spaces! I'm like that when I paint or draw!!

I love the ascending stairway of stone in this picture. It's going up to someplace of mystery and wonder.

Personally I make the icons myself in full size image, then once the image editing that I want is complete, then I scale the image to the propeor icon requirements {be they for Gateworld or elsewhere}

I personally use GIMP 2.8.14 myself.
