yes, I couldn't handle PS withdrawal and so downloaded GIMP. Not quite the same and having to learn the differences. BUT, I was able to make a Christmas cookie!

Yay on you, Nola, for trying a new software I've used both and maybe it's just because I have to use PS on my iPad but I don't like it as well as Gimp..

Thanks! I can try to write up a tut, but making it consisted almost entirely of playing with the coloring until I got something I liked. I'll take a look at my file to see if I can replicate what I did and put together a tut when I get a chance.

I forgot to comment, but I loved your piece. I love how you play with colouring, especially considering you use GIMP ( that is: no selective colouring feature...)
