I'm asking for an advice:

if you have to make a wallie for someone and you have no idea of the screen resolution (and you can't ask), what size is more useful?

On my laptop I have a very large screen, so my resolution is likely slightly larger than average - 1600 x 900 You might check your computer's resolution and come up with something similar or slightly larger to cover all the bases

1600 X 900 sounds like a good size. Mine is 1366 x 768 ( same proportion) but there are screens with other proportions. I just was trying to cover all bases ( when you can't ask directly, that is).

My desktop is 1920x1080 Laptop is 1600x900..
