I think the smaller images in the corners would be better without the backgrounds..

The cutting out is a little wobbly.. You might be able to fix that on the blade with the blur tool..

But I don't know.. maybe if there was more to the image than different shots of the same lightsaber?

I have trouble doing the fine, close work. lg used to do the erasing for me because I have tremors that bother me sometimes. Like now.

When you render, PH, do so with a transparent background and save as a png - then you can put it on any background you like. You can render a shadow (depending on program) at the same time or add one later. That way, you can easily try different backgrounds without having to do a new render each time.

I love the superimposition of Darth Vader - almost a ghost-like presence, but it packs a punch for symbolism.

Thanks. My nephew loves Star Wars and Darth Vader. PH said I could use the lightsaber pics. It's only going to be on his computer and he won't mind the fuzzy edges on the stuff I erased.
