Star Trek (2009)
My first thing to ever watch on the franchise. I was amazed by its awesomeness. I gotta start watching the shows. The movie was a jawdropper.

It's a prequel actually. So, presumably, 299
Spoiler:Apparently it's actually 300: Battle of Artemisia."A society grows great when old men plant trees, the shade of which they know they will never sit in. Good people do things for other people. That's it, the end." -- Penelope Wilton in Ricky Gervais's After Life

At the cinema, I saw Tintin. Very good, I can definitely highly recommend it (though, if you're a fan of the books, be aware that the film is different from the books, but not necessarily in a bad way). At home, I saw Management on the telly last night. It was so-so. Not something I'd recommend you go out and rent, but if it's on the telly it's worth considering.
