Welcome to GateWorld Forum! If this is your first visit, we hope you'll sign up and join our Stargate community. If you have questions, start with the FAQ. We've been going strong since 2004, are we are glad you are here.
I'll be quick, because I'm just about to leave to play my gig, but I forgot to mention that I'm on holiday this week. It's mid-term, so they set us free for a few days.
I did have a lovely day with an extremely emotional moment when my brother, that sweet man who is normally living 800 km from where I live, appeared out of nowhere with his family at Mom's where we had been invited to lunch!
Once again, THANK YOU for thinking of me on that day!!!
You're welcome!! That's so nice. I'm glad that your brother was able to celebrate with you.
I feel like a fossil - my baby pictures are in black and white - etched on a clay tablet.
Yours are cave paintings?!?
I kinda like SGU (exploring and adventure) but have a question
Spoiler:
Why don't they let Carter and McKay use the stones to help the insufferable #@%$& - or would that solve everything and the series would be over?
Well, that would defeat the purpose of having a 'dark and gritty' new show, wouldn't it? I'm not sure how much angsty infighting i can take. If there's much more of that than exploring and adventure, then my interest might not last the whole season...
But according to the airing schedule, that won't be on for a while...
I found this info on imdb.com under Richard Dean Anderson, but it may or may not be accurate:
Spoiler:
"SGU Stargate Universe" (6 episodes)

2. Incursion: Part 2 (????) - Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill
3. Earth (1 January 2009) - Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill
4. Air: Part 3 (2 October 2009) - Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill
5. Air: Part 2 (2 October 2009) - Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill
6. Air: Part 1 (9 October 2009) - Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill
I agree, that's the best one of the bunch. i think he looks great in that pic.
Anyway, in addition to the pics found on Kate's site, I also found a few new ones and cleaned them up, too. All have been color-corrected, sharpened and no watermarks. (Source: www.gettyimages.com)
The original one was extremely overexposed and too red...
Shawna Buchanan writes: “It did occur to me while watching Air III, why don’t they just have, say, McKay and Carter use the stones to switch places with some of those people on the ship who are sitting around doing nothing?”
Answer: This issue will be addressed in an upcoming episode. Earth actually.
