Well, Kate had Leo searching for info on David Smith. Seems that Kate's dad made an error that led to David's 12-year incarceration instead of a "slap on the wrist." Here's hoping for a bigger reveal in next week's episode with David himself.

Here's another tidbit from imdb Pro. First, let me say that I have long wished that John Sandford's protagonist, Deputy Police Chief Lucas Davenport of Minneapolis, Minnesota, be featured in a film starring RDA as Davenport. Sanford wrote a series of popular novels for which USA has rights to all 20 and the green light is on for one, Certain Prey. Alas, it turns out that Mark Harmon (RDA's peer) will be cast in this role. I would much prefer RDA but Harmon will be just fine!
