It took me about 9 months to get to 1800 posts. That was fudged a little bit when the mods moved a thread out of General Discussion into Off-topic, and i lost about 100 or so posts. But it wasn't a big deal. I actually didn't have a custom avatar that i liked until several weeks after i hit 1800 posts.
