I read somewhere sadly ( I think AVClub ) that some of the producers of Hell on Wheels ( or even the creators, I don't remember have left the series shortly after the season third annoucenment, so this show future is still quite unsure for the rest of the way... I tried to find the article, but I seemed to have lost it ! Sorry, but I thought to post it here anyhow.

Both were really good, but yeah, I found Season 2 a bit more compelling.

I totally agree. Should be interesting for sure. I am just glad things are figured out, and Season 3 is moving forward.

I love it too! But dammit I hated that Lily died and it looks like there is no new love interest for Cullen....although really he was reluctant to love again after the death of his wife so I guess now he will really have cold feet Poor guy. But yeah the show is really compelling and this cast is awesome.
