I would imagine an early season run with a series finale in november.

I know last year they had a lot of issues making a show in new york over the winter with the legendary cold and snow that part of the country got.

13 episodes to me suggest they plan to end it next year.

I'm not surprised, really. But with 13 episodes being the last gasp lifeline, the writers really can go out with a bang in their goodbyes (hopefully not too literally) after sort of writing themselves into a corner in S4.

Apparently Jonathan Nolan has said they are approaching this season as the final one, even though a decision hasnt been made. Wise move.

I agree. I think only getting a 13 episode season pretty much telegraphs that it's over

And honestly, if they happen to get more, I'd rather they wrap up the Samaritan storyline and reboot if they get a miracle renewal

I agree. 13 episodes is enough to wrap everything up and end on a hopefully happy note.

Well atleast we have confirmation now that Shaw is returning.

In case the US fans did not know it, Person of Interest is now on Netflix. Its only up to S3 unfortunately.

It's also running on WGN. 3 or so episodes a night, with some marathons tossed in there. So another place to play catchup.

And, personally, this is a show where you benefit going back and rewatching. Throwaway lines end up becoming major plot points later on in the season.
