Regarding LaSalle's accent, his character bio has him growing up and attending university in Alabama. Though he has spent a decade in NOLA, he should perhaps have learned to moderate it.

It isn't how he speaks it that annoys me. It's the way he twists and contorts his mouth while speaking that does. I don't think that's a normal way of speaking the accent.
