Have you ever considered writing a book about your expolits in the line of duty, Colornel-- General HAmmond
Best of Stargate is being shown on Sky 1 at the moment and this quote popped out at me rewatching the early ep where Hathor comes to the base and seduces all the men.
Hammond and Jack are about to leave the room. Hathor says:
"You, with the crown of marble"
Both Jack and Hammond turn to look at her...Hammond looks at Jack...Jack looks at Hammond (great comic timing as usual )...Jack shrugs and says:
"It's possible she could mean you sir" - or something similiar.
"You stole this from the Tollan?"-Hammond
"I would say more borrowed without asking"-Jack
"And Captain Carter and Dr. Jackson didnt try to stop you?"-Hammond
"Well sir Carter and Daniel both protested and while Teal'c
didnt say anything you could tell he didnt approve by the way he
tilted his head and cocked his eyebrow"-Jack
*Camera focuses on Teal'c who does the trademark tilt and eyebrow cock*
I just love that whole scene!
Regardless of what you all may think I am not Superman!-
Jonas- Can't you do some kind of keyword search? Daniel- For what Achilles? Jonas- Well I'm glad to see your memory is coming back, not to mention your razor sharp wit...
Carter - 19 Down.
O'neill - What?
Carter - The atomic weight of Boron. You wrote fat.
.
Why the hell does everyone misquote that?
It's:
Carter: 19 down. Thatomic wait of bron. The answer is ten.
O'Neill: So?
Carter: you wrote the word "FAT"
O'Neill: Your point?
Another good one was O'Niell's whole "Parrot Sketch" bit when trying to convince Hathor's forces she was dead in "Into the Fire". Can't remember exactly how it went but I think at the end was: "Let's face it, she's an ex-goddess."
