The use of Arthurian legend is prety boring to me!! But still I don't want to see it cancelled!

Maybe if they'd done it Monty Python style - yes, that was fun! Alas, all this Arthurian legend stuff has been boring, and alas, yes, the show got the axe. Just couldn't hold a big enough audience to merit the $$$ investment.

It hasn't exactly gripped me either. But I suspect that might have an awful, awful lot to do with overexposure to Monty Python-I spent most of 'Camelot' singing 'Knights of the Round Table'. But I believe that I documented that elsewhere in this thread

same here, but all they've done is we are looking for the grail, oh and the sword. Merlin & Morgan, really they have not done all that much with it imo.

If you're going to start something, at least finish it properly and please at least try and do it in a way that is original and interesting and preferrably doesn't involve cliched medieval music. The odd medieval ep was cool- I like 'Demons' (and not just because of O'Neill's Dr. Evil impression) because it was a different kind of ep. Recently its all seemed a little cliched, a bit like they had run out of ideas (which, actually, they probably had ) and weren't even delving into the interesting parts of the legends, which the casual viewer wouldn't have seen in the countless films that have been made which involve Arthur or invoke a similar mood, especially in the last twenty years.

I wish they would at least bring Mordred into the picture. He would make a good foil to Morgan and Merlin. Let's see an anceint get realy meddlesome and wiggle around all those rules they have for ascendant beings.

That would be fun. Mordred was such a conniving, scheming old b*****d. The menace of Anubis (in the sense of partial ascension) but hopefully with an actual personality. And he would need to have an English accent and be very languid and quietly evil all the time, as all the best morally ambigious baddies have to be

Handsome and yet so very, verly e-vil...and then you would need a panning out shot from their headquarters accompanied by the sound of their evil laughter as they contemplate yet another scheme...
Or Mordred is one of the Ori ascended-only that doesn't work on so many levels, including the one where we have no evidence and I just made it up

or even better Mordred is playing the Ori and the anceints - leading both of them on. through in some Ba'al and let the fun begin

I say we storm Bridge and rewrite the movie! It would be nuts, but hey, plot holes filled, all those little things that we've been discussing could be incorporated, we could resolve some season 10 issues about what has happened to all those other races and cultures (and also former team members..grr)...
....and of course, it would be a musical

Fosse would be fun. Have the Marines do 'Chicago' numbers. And of course, 'Wizard of Oz' references. There could be original songs...I've been planning to rewrite 'The Internet is for Porn' from Avenue Q to reflect the unintentional effect that the actors seem to have on the audience...just look at all those thunk threads

Was watching the Gamekeeper episode tonight and all those veiled people in black kept reminding me of a Chorus.

What's your favourite chorus? Oops, gone all classics again...
Veiled people...would suit the libation bearers of the second part of the Oresteia. Definately. Everyone else tends to be everday women, elderly men, or in one superb dramatic example, the Furies.
I also love the bit where Jack pokes one of them
