Michael Caine once said that he refuses to do love scenes, because to do them properly as an actor, he'd have to "fall in love" with the woman he is acting with. He also said that he couldn't do it since he loves his wife. I know you are not an actor, but what is your opinion about this? If you were an actor, would you do love scenes?

As a stuntman and an actor, I have had to do love scenes, including rape scenes which are very difficult to perform. I did these while I was not married and still very much a single guy......I would not want my wife to be in that position as an actress, nor would I want to put myself in that position either.....as I see it, making out is making out whether it's your job or not....it's still making out.

I suspect that you have to be very commited to your work ~ almost like a religious devotion to your career. Would that be an accurate assessment?

I would say yes......when one risks his/her life on a regular basis, you do tend to get closer to your spiritual side.....quite often.
