Jun 1 The Jace Hall Show Season 2, Season Finale!! Duke Nukem: Forever and Star Trek Reuinion.Game Industry News, The Jace Hall Show

Here we are. Or rather, “We’re Here”, at our Season 2 Finale. It has been quite the journey for all of us here at HD Films, and we wanted to make sure we sent Season 2 off with a bang, and an important piece for you, our devoted and awesome fans! Well save the mushy stuff for another day when we reflect back on all that we’ve seen and done over the last 4 months, because TODAY is for Episode 13 and all of its glory!

Starting off our rather emotional, heartfelt and rather reflective episode, Jace sets up a reunion of sorts for Star Trek TV alumni including, Armin Shimerman (Quark, Deep Space Nine), Max Grodénchik (Rom, Deep Space Nine), Connor Trinneer (Commander Charles ‘Trip’ Tucker III, Enterprise), Jeffrey Combs (Commander Shran, Enterprise - Weyoun, Deep Space Nine - Penk, Voyager), and some guy named Gary Graham who played Vulcan Ambassador Soval on Enterprise and Tanis on Voyager, though we can’t quite place where else we have seen him.

      Michael Shanks ("Victor")
Victor was CIA until his family was killed, and Carla convinced him to go rogue and come work for Management. Then it turns out Carla killed his family. Man, stuff like this never happened back when he was on Stargate SG-1.

not sure if this is the right place as it's not exactly news but

Morena Baccarin (Adria) and Adam Baldwin (Firefly's Jayne) in Sands Of Oblivion

Is on saturday night (so really sunday morning) at 1:40am on the UK Sci Fi Channel (Sky Channel Number 129)

It was on tonight about now ish but i missed it so i'm going to sky + it and watch.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint... it happens to kinda look like the name 'Jeremy Bearimy' in cursive English.

            Mili Avital (SG movie)

            NEWs (june 15, 2009)
Two worlds of Israeli actress Mili Avital

            Excerpt:

It was 1993, Avital had just moved to New York to study acting, for what she thought would be a brief stint.

The agent sent Avital’s show reel directly to director Roland Emerick and two weeks later, he cast her as James Spader’s love interest in the 1994 sci-fi flick Stargate.

“He saw my reel and cast me straight off that tape and to this day, I think ‘thank God’ ... I was very, very lucky.”

            http://www.theprovince.com/Looking+b...530/story.html

            excerpt:

Monteith's opener was one line in an episode of Stargate: Atlantis, and he gave up the cake job for good after he did back-to-back episodes of Smallville and Supernatural. A seven-episode arc on TV's Kyle XY in 2006 cemented his career.

              Joe Flanigan

              http://www.pinkraygun.com/2009/06/15...-warehouse-13/

The Warehouse 13 conference call was the most lively call of this nature that I’ve been on. Stars Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly and producers David Simkins and Jack Kenney are so genuinely excited about the show and all have such great rapport that it was hard not to be infected by it. Read the transcript after the jump.

              Potential spoilerage, so under cut.

Sheldon Wiebe: Excuse me. I was just wondering also on the production end with the guest stars you have coming up, we’ve already heard - I think Joanne mentioned that Michael Hogan was coming on. Who else is going to be there and what kind of artifacts are they going to be tied to?

Jack Kenny: Well Joe Flanigan is going to join us. He’s - this is Jack speaking, sorry. Joe Flanigan is going to join us and he’s going to be - sorry, I have to do math in my head as I talk about this because like I say, sometimes not knowing what the artifact is is part of the fun of the episode and sometimes you know right up front.

              Spoiler:
So I want to make sure, it’s an episode where we’re chasing these four sculptures that create something and we don’t know what they create until the end. And Joe is one of the guys - Joe Flanigan is one of the guys chasing it, and James Naughton is kind of his nemesis also chasing them. And Pete and Myka are trying to figure out this, you know, what they’re after and why they’re after them.

DEAR STACY: Whatever became of Lisa Bonet? Haven't heard from her in a while. — D.D., Bronx, N.Y.
DEAR D.D.: While the 40-year-old Bonet, who legally changed her name to Lilakoi Moon in 1995, is still a working actress, she has said in interviews that she has deliberately cut back on acting so that she could spend more time with her family. She has an 18-year-old daughter, Zoe, with former husband Lenny Kravitz, and on July 23 of last year she welcomed her second child, daughter Lola Iolani Momoa. This is her first child with Jason Momoa, an actor noted for his roles on "Baywatch" and "Stargate Atlantis." As for her most recent projects, Bonet — as she's still known professionally — appeared in a week-long reunion special for "A Different World" in 2006. She also starred in the drama "Whitepaddy," and will reportedly be a part of the Coen brothers' 2009 heist film, "Gambit," alongside Jennifer Aniston, Colin Firth, and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Amanda Burke (ancient scientist in SGA's "Echoes")

                        http://www.princegeorgecitizen.com/2...s-acclaim.html

                        Short film wins acclaim
                        Written by Frank Peebles
                        Citizen staff
                        Wednesday, 17 June 2009

A film director from Prince George has directed one of the year's most
                        celebrated short films in B.C.

Matthew Gordon Long, 27, was the darling of the Dramatic Short categories
at the 2009 Leo Awards held recently in Vancouver. His film The Anachronism
was nominated for 11 of the B.C. film industry trophies, winning six.

This 15-minute film was made in 2008 and thus had to be submitted to the
Leo Award jury for consideration, but other than those select people and a
small screening for the B.C. branch of the Canadian Directors' Guild, the
public has yet to see the movie. It is expected to be unveiled at North American film festivals this summer, and there are arrangements being made for a Japanese release as well, he said.

                        .....

Even with all the little incompletions seen by the director, Long said he
was ultimately very satisfied with the end product. The completed film
equaled the vision he had for it in the beginning.

It was four actors who carried a lot of the film's weight, he said, and he
couldn't be more pleased with the ones chosen through the audition process.
The mother in the story - and only adult seen - was played by Amanda Burke (Stargate: Atlantis, Nomansland), the squid pilot was portrayed by Rita Kim and the two leads, Sebastian and Katie, were played by Ryan Grantham and Katarina Watt respectively.
