I had a dream about Aurora yesterday morning... it wasn't quite so romantic It's the first Wraithy dream I've had in ages... think he was trying to make sure I don't forget they're still there for me, even if Kas is taking up my attentions writing-wise

The writing is kinda going, and growing. I've had some good feedback thus far, but I'm rather tentative about saying it's actually good. That would be horribly arrogant. The ideas are coming, but OMG, it's vast. At least as big as ASR.

Thanks. Boris is making sure I don't spend more than a few minutes on the computer at a time. It's a tempting idea to dose myself up to the eyebrows with ibuprofen but he won't let me. The rest of my boys are keeping me cheered up.

Well, Boris didn't get to be a Commander for nothing - very wise - although painkillers do have their place in appropriate doses.

Thanks, c. I appreciate it. I suppose it's a space opera, but a good one. It has aliens, and love, lots of shiny tech, danger, treachery, war... And a cast that wants to tell the story the way they want to tell it. Really, they do, they rewrite if I ain't watching, I swear.

Don't you just hate it when you have characters that want to tell their own story. I have one of those at the moment, an absolute w**ker of a character who keeps trying to drag me away from my initial fanfic storyline and write about him. They're all drama queens, really.

Yeah, characters rewriting the story while you're not looking - annoying bunch, all of them! But don't we just love them for it? Happened to me too with Tox and Fillyz. They weren't even completely formed characters and they already began taking over everything.

. Last night I was thinking about leaving Port Arthur, my friends, Michael (my current infatuation) and I got all teary. I'm sticking around as a ghost tour guide and an emergency call-up guide, but I'm going to miss it like anything. As for Uni, it'll be good to go back, but trying to impress my thesis supervisor is like trying to swim naked through a pool of acid - you get burnt along the way!

Characters are pure evil! How dare they take over our minds and play around with our creative processes!

Good news about not having to undergo an op, sweetie - but the injections sound a bit painful Physio has helped me a lot, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it does likewise for you. My physio told me the most important thing with knee problems is to keep it mobile.
