Yes! it is, but cheaper than going to the movies, since everything does end up on tv eventually, and for a lot less, 'per view.'

Ain't that the truth. Haven't been to the movies in almost a year. Maybe longer Last thing I remember seeing was Transformers. Though will try to go see Bond. Was going to go see Batman this summer but never got around to it so FINALLY it comes out Dec 9. We just rent movies but lately there hasn't been anything worth renting....

Yes, as of February 28, 2009, analog television will be no more. That means anyone without some kind of digital ability will have to get cable or sat.

Yeah people with sat don't have to worry about it...no matter what kind of tv you have. Though I think you will still be able to watch tv on an old analog set with an antenna just as long as you buy one of those converter boxes.
