Hello! I'm a third-year physics student at the college I go to. I'm thinking of going into either particle physics or astrophysics research. Not sure which, but definitely going for theoretical physics as I'm a lot better with math than with experiment design. The person who would later become my roommate got me into Stargate two years ago, and I've seen almost all of it except for Season 4 and 5 of Atlantis, Continuum, and Ark of Truth. (It's been a busy semester, and I haven't had a lot of time. Also, I'm becoming more and more aware that those seasons/movies are basically the only "new" Stargate I'm ever going to get, and I don't want it to be over.)
I do a bit of fic writing, but I tend to get a bit self-conscious about it and I'm also very bad at keeping to a consistent schedule so I haven't posted anything in years. I do want to change that, though. I enjoy reading fic as well and I love finding new ones (which is part of my reason for joining this board).
I also like The Librarians a lot, and although I haven't really gotten very far into any of the series (again, time), what I have seen of Star Trek I've really enjoyed as well.
