What do we think of the new forum?

i really really like the new board, didnt go on delphi alot, but i could stay on here all day, love the icons you can put beside a message and its really easy to use!!!

Love the rest of the gateworld site aswell, its my number one place that i go to first on the net!!!!!!

It's not that I am complaining, mind you, and I do appreciate Darren,David&the mods(sounds like a name for a rock band ) hard work, it's just taking time for this old information age-Ludite to get a feel for this vb stuff.

I can never remember where I've posted, and clicking on the little box that says "last post read" (or something to that effect) takes me to the last post, period, and I have to scroll up to where I left off (which, in my case, is usually three pages from the last post. "/ .

I do like the whole posting proceedure, and the quote system. Very nice.

And the fact that I just found this post shows what I'm talking about. Because I didn't check this thread the last few times I was on GW, I had no idea you'd posted to me.

Wonder how long it will be before you actually see this one or if you ever will, and then how long it will be before I realize you posted back to me and then...er...um...

Yeah, I'd say generally very good. There's still a few wrinkles perhaps, but I like it. And at the end of the day if it'd been left up to me to design a new forum, we'd all be sticking bits of paper to the wall with drawing pins. I respect any man who can go beyond drawing pins.
