Got up too early, took my mom to work (we got 10+ inches of snow thursday, so the roads are a bit tricky).
Treated myself to a panera bagel for breakfast, then chilled a bit. Then went on a little photo safari and got some cool pics of the gulls at the lake, along with the geese.
Hit the video store and got me a couple of new movies to watch tomorrow
rewatching this week's NCIS, hten i'll pick my mom up from work, and later hit a local mexican place for dinner.

so mellow weekend, which I kinda like after a hectic work week

We had our usual Saturday morning massage, then went for Mexican food for lunch. I was in the mood for some chocolate cake, but didn't want a whole cake staring at me saying "eat me" every time I went in the kitchen. So, 4 minute cake!

1 box chocolate cake mix (or whatever your preference)
1 box angel food cake mix
mix together thoroughly
in a LARGE mug or cereal bowl, scoop out 6 tablespoons of your mix, add 4 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of oil.
pop into the microwave (on high) for 3 minutes
I spread a little Nutella on top as icing - very good

the mix will keep in the pantry in a sealed container just fine for whenever you need a little treat.
