Cool, I thought that would be it. Just I had some weird problems when I tried to activate the account (due to my computer being insane) and just wanted to make sure I hadn't done something stupid, which is not unheard of in my case.

Usually I'm the one solving other peoples problems, but this time I'm wondering if anyone out there has any solutions.

Do you know if there is anyway to get back Contacts (adddress book) on Yahoo Mail? I'm trying to help someone and we followed yahoo steps to have them restore the contacts and then wait requisite 48 hrs and just got back a generic email saying sorry contact ATT (which is the DSL provider). Which I am about 99.9% certain will get us nowhere but higher blood pressure. From the email wording I wonder if a real person even read it.

Not sure if all these are related or responsible but they had spam email sent from their address which is what 1st alerted us to the problem then discovered the deleted contacts and email, then upon further spyware checks discovered several problems. Got those cleared up.

I suspect since Yahoo is unable or unwilling to help us they are screwed but thought maybe someone might have a magic trick.

nope not even the mods can do that but even if you delete the messages you'll still see them it will just say "you" have deleted thsi message.

i want to delete ALL of my convos and just start over. the only way i can even think of doing this now, is to create a new account. i don't want to lose everything i've built up, *just* so i can delete conversations on another part of my profile. :/

the mods can hard delete them so you don't see them anymore. but the mods will have do it page by page. like us. but it would be the way you want.

but there's *so* many pages, i wouldn't even ask them to do this, especially for such superficial reasons as i've got.
