in one way i agree with you. However, since he started the thread, he 'owns' it in that he can ask for us to close it. And, like i said, he didn't have to ask for us to close it, he could have deleted his first post, thus deleting the whole thread.

And also, like i said, you and the other folks involved can take your posts to a new thread and continue the debate if you wish. If you want to continue discussion on this topic, please PM me however this is my last post on the subject

The Forum keeps disappearing for me, saying there is a Database error.

Is this my fault, or just another bug in the system. If it's a bug, hope it's fixed soon, cos although it's only for 5mins at a time, it can get frustrating.

I wasn't sure if posting this in the 1,000,000 post thread would get anyone's attention, so I decided to post it in here and maybe the mods can relay this to Darren and Greg. I know I was the one who was like "we all made the 1000000th post so hooray us", but I did have an idea of how you can determine it, but it'd require you taking the forum down for a little while:

Well I know you guys can move posts from one thread to another. So why not simply move all the posts in all the threads into one giant thread? Then the 1,000,000th post in that thread would be the right one, cause they would be sorted by time right? The only problem is I don't know how you would sort them back out. But you guys can figure that out. I'm confident. Me too. As am I.

it's a cool idea but...well the only person out of the 12,000 that play here that would like the downtime would likely be the winner

i'm not saying that it's not a possibility, however i also think that the risk of something going wrong might be a bit too high to do it.
