Dread Central has posted a video clip from an interview (about the movie Tucker and Dale vs Evil) with Alan "Wash" Tudyk in which he discusses his character’s death in Serenity, and how reading a comic based on Wash has inspired him to propose a Firefly prequel to Joss Whedon:
