Joe Morton directs Eureka (and brings back Matt Frewer)
Joe Morton is best known as an actor, but every once in a while he likes to step behind the camera, too. And so it is that the Eureka star has called the shots for the first time on an episode of the popular Syfy show. His episode, "Have an Ice Day," will premiere on Friday, Sept. 11, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

What's the big surprise behind the return of Eureka's 'Taggart'?
The rumors are not true—Matt Frewer did NOT agree to reprise his role as Jim Taggart on Syfy's Eureka just so people would finally stop saying, "Hey Matt, when are you going to be back as Taggart on Eureka?"

From E! Online:
Spoiler:Jimmy in Carson, Calif.: So happy to see Taggart back on Eureka—he's the best. Will my favorite character be on the show more regularly now?
Matt Frewer himself tells us this is the only Eureka episode he filmed this season, which means he won't appear on Friday's finale. As for future eps, the onetime Max Headroom says, "I'm sort of in a wait and see mode." Here's hoping there's a lot less waiting and a lot more seeing of the Aussie dog catcher in season four.

Eureka won't start filming season 4 for 11 months. So it will be a while before we can expect season 4 to air.

Well, going from history, we'll probably get the Season 4 premier in mid July here in the States. I'm afraid I don't know when it premiers after that in other countries.sigpic

'Battlestar' actor cast in 'Eureka'
Battlestar Galactica's James Callis has joined the cast of Eureka, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor, famous for playing Dr. Gaius Baltar, will appear on Eureka's upcoming fourth season as the mysterious Dr. Grant.
His character, whose return to his hometown raises alarm, will cause friction when he takes a romantic interest in Allison Blake.
Callis has previously appeared on Numb3rs and will guest star on ABC's FlashForward when the series resumes later this month.
