They were probably out by the microbe-infested lake, or near the poisonous plants.

Which have no basis in the show

Neither does the notion that the planet was entirely survivable. If you can make up viable water and edible plants, I can make up microbe-infested water and poison plants.

My scenario makes rational sense at least. Yours does not

            (Never mind - wrong thread.)

Um that is completely off topic

Yeah, I noted in the other thread that I've lost track of what we're arguing about where, and that this is probably a sign that I should move on.

Who's to say the blues didn't already pick up the survivors, but left the ship cause it was too damaged.

They were still able to survive there

I think it's safe to say that Young wasn't thinking at all about Rush at this point. He saw Rush as a danger to both himself at the crew. He decided that he needed to deal with that threat. How he did so was stupid but that's another debate entirely.

But was it stupid? Rush has endangered the crew multiple times. In an ideal situation Rush would be put in a jail cell but that is not possible given the situation

Up to then, how had he endangered the crew multiple times?

AirI, II, earlier in Justice, on the top of my head. If I go past Justice I can think of a lot more

If Rush hadn't figured out how to solve the air problem, nobody would be alive to be endangered.

They wouldn't have had an air problem if Rush was so selfish at Icarus
