Nah, see. It's not fair to say it's bad, given I need to see how TPTB handle what they've done now. If they can write this in an interesting way and make it all just make a bit more sense, then I'll be fine

I'll be a little upset if we're denied all the buildup and tension that truly successful show relationships have. We'll see what TPTB do. Maybe they don't even plan to leave these two together anyways

The episode (Light) in its whole certainly is not bad, on the contrary.
However,

it as a bit shocking to immediately see Matt/Chloe with little to none transition, and as it happens in the first four minutes.
