Yeah, when I was in NYC a lot of dudes were wearing skinny jeans there. It was creepy. It felt like emos exploded all over the place.

Tight jeans and "skinny" jeans are two different things. Skinny jeans are form fitting down the leg and not flattering on any male form unless he happens to have very built legs. Now, jeans that are tight in the crotch and seat are fine...just don't go all the way down they leg. I guess they're just too girly for me (and thankfully the people I associate with feel the same way...so no fashion interventions needed).
