Just popping in to let everyone know we're having a Holiday Open House over at the Women of the Gate community and would love for you to stop by.
Fics, pics, icons, vids - all are welcome - new or old, festive or not. We're just celebrating the ladies!
We also have a snazzy new poll for the 2010 Ficathon and we're adding character profiles for all the ladies (the SGU ladies' will be up by Weds - we're trying not to inundate the flists).
You'll find the rules for posting, news on the character profiles and the new poll all efficiently included in this single entry here
Just stopping in with a reminder that The Women of the Gate Ficathon and Art Challenge is open for prompts until February 27th.
The LJ community celebrates all the Stargate ladies and aims to promote more fic/art which highlights strong female friendships, women kicking serious butt and saving the world/galaxy/universe.
You can find all the information about the latest ficathon/art challenge and how to leave a prompt here.
Sign-up for authors and artists will be open from March 1st.
I am looking forward to seeing Chloe come into her own, and putting someone in harms way tends to force them to grow. And I admit, I hope it is in a direction away from Scott.

Haha, I actually agree...partially. I really look forward to seeing Chloe grow as a character. Additionally, I sort of would like to see her and Scott grow distant...for a while. I think it'd be good for both of their characters to not necessarily be defined by the other.
Although, if they can write it and portray it well...then I have no problem if they stay together as they are.
