Robert Carlyle/Dr Nicholas Rush Thunk/Appreciation thread

It does seem very calm up here. I used to really dislike coming up to the sgu part of the forum in the beginning because I always ended up in a thread with a lot of arguing; and that gets annoying after awhile. This is nice.

I find that the sgu part is much calmer now, I mean I post/lurk in a few of them and I haven't come across any arguing. We are nice here, I guess it's not in the thunkers nature to fight

And Rush is a great character. I tend to like characters like him. Rush seems like such a grey character; his motivations or agenda are not very clear and I find him fascinating.

Ditto!! I really enjoy trying to figure out what he is going to do next.

I wasn't exactly a Robert Carlyle fan before. I liked him in the Full Monty, but didn't care much for him in 28 Weeks later; and I didn't even realize he was in Eragon until I saw it on imdb even though I have that movie on dvd.

I wasn't a RC fan either, I had seen some of his movies but I had not taken any special interest on him. Now, I am trying to watch as many of his movies as I can

Yea, everyone here seems nice. I'm trying to watch more of his movies too. From interviews I've seen/read RC seems like a nice guy.

This is truly an awesome thread! I'd have to say that I'm definitely most at ease here, although I try to frequent other areas of the board to see what interesting topics are being discussed. There's usually so much being discussed though that I have to pick and choose what I'm going to read because I just don't have as much time as I'd like. But this thread always comes first for me.

RC is the ONLY reason I chose to watch SG-U despite having been an SG fan from Day One. I was so turned off by BSG (the darkness, the in-fighting, the gloom and doom) that when the trailers came out for SG-U I was sure it was going to be more of the same -- until I learned that RC was going to be in the cast. And this I discovered just DAYS before the first episode aired! Yep, for me, the show is better titled RUSH HOUR (title courtesy of ONeill4tW!)

This thread is definitely the place to be!

After a while I'm back again , thanks for all of you who provided all those pictures!

Since we didn't had our shower scene till now , I thought it would be nice to look after something with less ..., which is for some reason not easy to find, but's worth the hunting!
