I still haven't finished capping "Incursion" 2 , but here's a comparison of Rush in the beginning and in the end of SGU S1. Funny thing, that with this show you can tell which half of season it is by the way characters look.

Looking at Comic Con pictures, I'm glad RC has kept the beard, but his hair looks somewhat shorter. I guess he couldn't let them grow indefinitely.

Definitely. Unlike most of them, RC seemed to actually enjoy it! New questions helped, I'm sure, along with having the time to actually expand on things, rather than the quick grabs. He's just wonderful when he gets the chance to tell a story, to relate things to each other and get to the heart of something.
